HB007B Sukkot the eighth day “as the door closes”
Lev 23:31 You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.
I don’t see why this is so hard for so many people to understand. Adonai said that those who are called by His name are to commemorate these days He said FOREVER NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE. So why it is the pagans and the Romanized Christians say we do not have to celebrate these days Adonai said we should? This particular day the 8th day of the Feast of Sukkot “Tabernacles” is especially important. Yeshua the Messiah pointed to this particular day in one of His most impressive parables. Mat 25:10 But as they were going off to buy, the bridegroom came. Those who were ready went with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. Mat 25:11 Later, the other bridesmaids came. 'Sir! Sir!' they cried, 'Let us in!' Mat 25:12 But he answered, 'Indeed! I tell you, I don't know you!' I don’t know but don’t you that is pretty harsh to say that in verse 12? Now remember this parable was spoken by Yeshua. So for Him to be so harsh He is telling us something that is near and dear to HIS heart. Is it to you? Mat 25:12 But he answered, 'Indeed! I tell you, I don't know you!' So the man at the gate says to these people who are calling themselves the bride of Yeshua let us in. These brides have put on what they think is their bridal clothes. They have come to the house of the bridegroom just at the wrong time. How would they know the right time? Do you know how what day the Holy Day of Sukkot is on? Do you have a bible?
