Lev 23:24 "Tell the people of Isra'el, 'In the seventh month, the first of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar.
Lev 23:25 Do not do any kind of ordinary work, and bring an offering made by fire to Adonai.' "

So many people are celebrating Rosh Hashanah this week. If we read the words in Vaiyikra (Lev) 23 it does not say New Year it says sound the shofar. Specifically a day of sounding the shofar. Why would there be such a misunderstanding about this Holy day? Who would try to deceive the people Jew and Gentile together? Would that be Yehovah or satan? It would be the adversary satan. What is so important about this Holy day? The importance is found in the word Teruah. It is found in the meaning of the word and the study of those verses that contain the word Teruah. Once you study the word Teruah you will be drawn a picture by the Ruach HaKodesh as to why satan does not want all peoples celebrating this prophetic Holy day. The word Teruah will show you the battle cry. The word Teruah will show you the alarm of things to come shortly. The word Teruah will show you how to shout to the Lord. The word Teruah will show you when to sing our Kings praises. Find out why Yehovah said to sound the shofar on the 1st day of the 7th month.
