HB004 Shavuot 2015 “Two Banners”

 

Lev 23:17  You must bring bread from your homes for waving — two loaves made with one gallon of fine flour, baked with leaven — as firstfruits for Adonai.

 

Did you ever stop to wonder why our King has us each year waving bread over our heads? Kind of strange don’t ya think? Or is it something much more profound?

 

What does waving the two loaves of bread and the isis flag and the homo flag have to do with one another? What does the giving of the TORAH and waving our bread have to do with the end-times? Find out this mystery in Shavuot 2015 “Two Banners”.

 

D’varim 16:16-17

Deu 16:16  "Three times a year all your men are to appear in the presence of Adonai your God in the place which he will choose - at the festival of matzah, at the festival of Shavu`ot and at the festival of Sukkot. They are not to show up before Adonai empty-handed,

Deu 16:17  but every man is to give what he can, in accordance with the blessing Adonai your God has given you.

Deu 16:11  You are to rejoice in the presence of Adonai your God - you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, the L'vi'im living in your towns, and the foreigners, orphans and widows living among you - in the place where Adonai your God will choose to have his name live.

Sh’mot 14 the reed sea and the mighty hand of Yehovah

Exo 14:13  Moshe answered the people, "Stop being so fearful! Remain steady, and you will see how Adonai is going to save you. He will do it today — today you have seen the Egyptians, but you will never see them again!

Sh’mot 16 crying about food not having any. Saying we wish the He killed us in Egypt. So quickly we forget. MANNA and on the sixth day a double portion, also quails.

Blessed are you, Yehovah Elohim, ruler of the Universe, who keeps us alive, who supports the unfolding of our uniqueness, and who has enabled us to reach this season.

The blessing that is to be spoken before eating the two loaves of bread is:

Baruch atah Yehovah, Elohaynu melek ha-olam, ha motzi lechem men ha’aretz

Blessed are You, Yehovah Elohim, king of the universe Who brings forth bread from the earth.
