Marriage is..…… ……

A Covenant and A Promise

דּבר  dâbar   - Promise -  to speak, declare, converse, command, promise, warn, threaten, sing

Promises are spoken

In marriage, promises offer a platform of power that must be taken very seriously. The spoken word carries weight and authority and expectation. Promises require a speaker and a receiver. Adonai demands responsibility from both sides. One must fulfill the promise. The other is expected to cooperate and not to hinder or undermine the promise.

Promises are given to another person.

According to scripture, Adonai makes no differentiation between King, master or servant. A promise is to be kept by who ever speaks the words – even Adonai himself. Status is not an issue.

ה (Heh)

Teach me, Adonai, the way of your laws; keeping them will be its own reward for me. Give me understanding; then I will keep your Torah; I will observe it with all my heart. Guide me on the path of your mitzvot, for I take pleasure in it. Bend my heart toward your instructions and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; with your ways, give me life. Fulfill your promise, which you made to your servant, which you made to those who fear you. Avert the disgrace which I dread, for your rulings are good. See how I long for your precepts; in your righteousness, give me life!

Psalm 119:33-40

Bil`am said to Balak, "Stand here by your burnt offering, while I go over there for a meeting." Adonai met Bil`am, put a word in his mouth and said, "Go on back to Balak, and speak as I tell you." He came to him and stood by his burnt offering, with all the princes of Mo'av. Balak asked him, "What did Adonai say?"Then Bil`am made his pronouncement: "Get up, Balak, and listen! Turn your ears to me, son of Tzippor!" God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind.

When he says something, he will do it; when he makes a promise, he will fulfill it.

Numbers 23:15-19

The wedding vows are a foundation or a launching surface for the new married life. Both the man and the woman need to be able to stand on the original covenant as the first of a series of many trustworthy commitments or promises. As the relationship grows, both people will need to be able to rely on these words to faithfully lead into actions of merit and worth.

Promises flow in an outward direction;

outward from the source.

Adonai teaches us that courage and stability come from the expectation of fulfilled promises.

So now, Adonai, God, establish forever the word you have spoken to your servant and his house; do what you have promised. May your name be magnified forever, so that it will be said, 'Adonai-Tzva'ot is God over Isra'el, and the dynasty of your servant David will be set up in your presence.' You, Adonai-Tzva'ot, God of Isra'el, have disclosed to your servant, 'I will build you a house.' This is why your servant has the courage to pray this prayer to you. Now, Adonai Elohim, you alone are God; your words are truth; and you have made this wonderful promise to your servant. So may it please you to bless the family of your servant and thereby cause it to continue forever in your presence. For you, Adonai Elohim, have said it. May your servant's family be blessed forever by your blessing."

2 Samuel 7:25-29

According to scripture, contentment, singing and rejoicing are all outward signs of fulfilled promises..

Then He led his people out, laden with silver and gold; among his tribes not one stumbled. Egypt was happy to have them leave, because fear of [Isra'el] had seized them. He spread out a cloud to screen them off and fire to give them light at night. When they asked, he brought them quails and satisfied them with food from heaven. He split a rock, and water gushed out, flowing as a river over the dry ground, for he remembered his holy promise to his servant Avraham.

He led out his people with joy, his chosen ones with singing. Then he gave them the lands of the nations, and they possessed what peoples had toiled to produce, in order to obey his laws and follow his teachings. Halleluyah!

Psalm 105:37-45

Beginning a new life can seem intimidating or uncertain. Even in dire circumstances and even for the most timid person, the fulfillment of a promise is always strengthening or empowering.

Therefore, let the whole house of Isra'el know beyond doubt that God has made him both Lord and Messiah — this Yeshua, whom you executed on a stake!" On hearing this, they were stung in their hearts; and they said to Kefa and the other emissaries, "Brothers, what should we do?" Kefa answered them, "Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on  the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins,  and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh!  For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away — as many as Adonai our God may call!"

Acts 2:36-39

Moreover, dear friends, do not ignore this: with the Lord, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient with you; for it is not his purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins. However, the Day of the Lord will come "like a thief." On that Day the heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up. Since everything is going to be destroyed like this, what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives, as you wait for the Day of God and work to hasten its coming. That Day will bring on the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt from the heat; but we, following along with his promise, wait for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness will be at home.

2 Peter 3:8-13

"Jew & Gentile One in Messiah"

"the biblical truth lives here"

No Talmud (rabbinic teachings) and No Christian doctrine. Straight biblical teachings.

"The Route 66 Highway"...Genesis to Revelation the only perfect word of God!

Always remember Yeshua the Messiah is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

He was never a Catholic, Baptist, Evangelical, Pentecostal or any of the other 1,500 denominations of Christianity

He is, and always will be a Jew. And all the Talmidim (Disciples) were Messianic Jews

Why the name Beth Goyim?

Isa 56:7  I will bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

Mar 11:17 And He began to teach and say to them, "Is it not written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL THE NATIONS'

House = Beth in Hebrew  People or nations =all peoples Hebrew & Gentiles

hence the name of the congregation...Beth Goyim

Messianic = meaning we believe and follow Yeshua the foretold Messiah of Israel

Congregation = group of people with a similar thought process.

Beth Goyim Messianic Congregation is a 501C3 not for profit organization

Beth Goyim Messianic Congregation is like the first congregation/church at Antioch. Jew and Gentile one in Messiah. So it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end. Knowing Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah is not about religion it is about faith.

Learn about your Heritage. Yeshua “Jesus” is the same always and He never stopped being a Jew. Come and get back what Hasatan “satan” has stolen from you. If you are saved you are engrafted into the Hebrew Olive Tree. Come to Beth Goyim and see things from the original “Jewish” perspective.
