The Word of Adonai is the best source of counsel for any married couple. The covenant of marriage originated in the Heart of our Lord, Just as the Lord views marriage as the ultimate act of friendship, so He seeks to be our friend at all times

Through  His friendship with each of us He demonstrates to us the importance of sound advice among people we love.

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

Psalm 33:11

Oil and perfume make the heart glad, So a man's counsel is sweet to his friend.

Proverbs 27:9

"So now let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives and their children, according to the counsel of my Lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

Ezra 10:3

Counsel is not given casually. According to scripture, wise counsel imparts life, power, strength, understanding and peace. Counsel should be given and received with great care and with great love as something of tremendous value or worth. This is great gift when exchanged between friends.

So now come, please let me give you counsel and save your life and the life of your son Solomon.
