471 The good student that knows how to properly actively listen gets blessed
Synopsis: This message will have two themes. The primary theme is, Qualities a Godly Student “Talmid” Must Possess. The secondary theme is becoming a person who can discern the truth from lies Hebraicly and scripturally. For we know faith comes by hearing, but there is a tremendous amount of noise in this world. The question begs to be asked; so how do I learn how to actively listen so I can bless my King and in return get a double blessing?
SECTION 1: THE KING OF ALL LIES. The adversary, satan does all that he can to stop the plans of Yehovah. The adversary will lie, cheat, steal do whatever he is allowed to, to get you away from the ONE TRUE KING. Sometimes even before you are born the evil one will speak to your mother and tell her, “murder that thing in your womb”. The evil one will say, “you don’t have money to raise it”. The evil one will say, “it will mess up your life”. Lies, lies, lies that all the enemy is good for. That is when the ONE TRUE KING changes the evil plans of the enemy and makes a path for GOOD. The key to section one is this, do you allow your life to be made following the directions of the enemy or do you follow the righteous path already blazed by Yeshua and His talmidim?
SECTION 2: FAITH COMES BY HEARING. Listening is Not the Same as Hearing. Hearing refers to the sounds that you hear, whereas listening requires more than that: it requires mental focus. Listening means paying attention not only to the lesson, but how it is told, the use of language and voice. Your ability to listen effectively depends on the degree to which you perceive and understand these messages. By discerning and affectively applying the message of the word of Yehovah is the degree to which you and your family will be blessed or cursed.
