480 Righteous worship
Is there a right and wrong way to worship God? Many people have different ideas about what is correct. Some people say you can only use a piano and no drums. Some people say you cannot dance or lift your hands in praise. Do these thing matter to the Father? What does matter to the Father in the times that we are living in, when it comes to righteous worship? There was an event that happened in the Messiah’s life with a Samaritan woman. This event that happened over 2000 years ago is needed for our salvation today. After we scratch the surface and truly begin to dig deep in the word and these events. We will see an incredible picture drawn for us in the dialogue between Yeshua and the woman. This is a profound message for those who have ears to listen to it. One might ask the question am I a spiritual Samaritan?
SECTION 1: WHAT IS RIGHTEOUS WORSHIP?
'WORSHIP' IS AN INADEQUATE TRANSLATION OF THE GREEK AND HEBREW TERMS
Our word worship derives from the Old English
weordhscipe meaning worthiness or
meritoriousness and thus giving God
the recognition He deserves. There are some problems with this English
translation, however, because the Greek & Hebrew terms do not mean precisely
the same thing. Let look at the diamond.
SECTION 2: THE SAMARITAN WOMAN. The profound understanding we will get when we worship in spirit and truth. Why was Yeshua alone speaking to this woman at the well? Where were the talmidim? Many times when people just look at a picture we come to a inaccurate conclusion. Just look at the ridicules science community that looks at a picture of a far off distant planet. They say that planet can sustain life by just looking at a picture. They thought that way about the so-called face a mars until the new robot got there and found out it was just a rock. We will see without Hebrew eyes when we read the account of the Samaritan woman we truly do not understand how to worship in spirit and truth.
