Revelation 6:1-17

 

SYNOPSIS: Why is the book of Revelation in the Bible? What is its purpose? I thought that the God of the Old Testament had become softer more loving in the New Testament when Messiah came. The key to understanding the book of Revelation is to understand, that it is personal now and to understand Proverbs 3.

 

SECTION 1: SEVEN SEALS, SEVEN SHOFARS, SEVEN BOWLS OF JUDGMENT  WHY? What is the purpose of the book of Revelation? Why do we see the three sets of seven? What is the purpose of every seal, shofar and bowl judgment?

 

SECTION 2: BOUNDARY STONE. What would happen if you moved your neighbors house without their permission? What would happen if you pushed someone’s car out of your way because you wanted that parking spot? What happens in the spirit when we move Yehovah’s boundary stone? What are the ramifications of our actions by our Father in heaven? Find out how important the Boundary stone is and when we have pushed it to far.

 

SECTION 3: THE GIFT FROM YEHOVAH. Children are a gift from Yehovah. What happens to us if we don’t take care of His precious gift of life that He gave to us? What happens if the Father has to step in and take over for our failures?

 

SECTION 4: YEHOVAH CHASTISES THOSE HE LOVES. Why doesn’t this sound good? Learning this key understanding will give you expert understanding of the book of Hebrews. With this biblical understand you will get seven keys to the seven seals, shofars, and bowls judgments.

Rev 6:8  I looked, and there in front of me was a pallid, sickly-looking horse. Its rider's name was Death, and Sh'ol followed behind him. They were given authority to kill one-quarter of the world by war, by famine, by plagues and with the wild animals of the earth.

SECTION 2: BOUNDARY STONE

 

Deu 19:14  "You are not to move your neighbor's boundary marker from the place where people put it long ago, in the inheritance soon to be yours in the land Adonai your God is giving you to possess.

THE POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT

Jewish history during those four centuries between the Testaments runs in six periods: 

the Persian, the Greek, the Egyptian, the Syrian, the Maccabean  And the Roman. 

 

The Encyclopedia Britannica tells of the earliest recognition of Sunday laws: “The earliest recognition of the observance of Sunday as a legal duty is a constitution of Constantine in 321 A.D., enacting that all courts of justice, inhabitants of towns, and workshops were to be at rest on Sunday (venerable day of the sun) with the exception in favor of those engaged in agricultural labor” (Encyclopedia Britannica, art. Sunday).

 

“Constantine the Great made a law for the whole empire (A.D. 321) that Sunday should be kept as a day of rest in all cities and towns; but he allowed the country people to follow their work” (Encyclopedia American, art. Sabbath).

Pro 3:12  for Adonai corrects those he loves like a father who delights in his son.
