509 you have broken them all

Ya’ako 2:1-18

SYNOPSIS: For a person who keeps the whole Torah, yet stumbles at one point, has become guilty of breaking them all. You can only understand this deeply amazing scripture if you have deep Hebrew roots. Most of the christian body quotes this scripture to say we are no longer under the law. What a sad lie that they have believed from satan. Once we understand the modern day toy parable you will understand what Ya’akov is trying to tell us about our hearts.

SECTION 1: FAVORITISM. What is favoritism? Favoritism is a natural but sometimes destructive trait. What is favoritism? As Merriam-Webster defines it: The showing of special favor : partiality. At its core, favoritism results in making a decision based not upon their merits of the matter at hand, but upon some other basis. It should also be clear that it has both a positive and a negative aspect to it-- favoritism can result in both favoring and “un-favoring." Does God show favoritism or does He deal with each of us individually?

SECTION 2: IF YOU BROKEN ONE YOU HAVE THE HEART TO BREAK THEM ALL. We will be told a modern day parable in this section. Then we will discover the truth of what Ya’akov tells us in his letter with a Hebrew understanding not a Romanized mess. It comes down to once you start down a bad road will you be able to put on the breaks or is it deeper.
