630 encouragement, remember, forget
Amos 4:1-5:6
SYNOPSIS: Yehovah does not want to be separated from His people. Not the Jew or the Gentile. He wants us to worship as one people, in one way. He gives us encouragement to follow in His ordained perfect ways. Like a loving Father He gives His children loving encouragement like “You can do it”. “don’t worry what men can do” and many other blessed words. In this Shabbat teaching we are going to focus on His encouragement. We are going to focus on not forgetting where we came from and making our lives and example for all to see. At the end of the message in theme 3 we will look at 2 prophecies and how they are coming to light and how scary they are. Why are the so scary? For when we don’t take the encouragement from Him. When we don’t remember where we came from and have lost our first love then He has to be who He is and do what He said he will do.
THEME 1: ENCOURAGEMENT. So many times He says you can do it. He says don’t listen to them you can do it. Yeshua says I give you these two things to encourage you. In September 2016 the Liba Center published a report with a title that speaks volumes: "Coerced Pluralism" in the military. The report not only dispelled the popular impression that the army is becoming more religious, it says that the exact opposite is taking place – the army is becoming the vanguard of the radical liberal agenda. The Liba report exposed, perhaps for the first time, the radical shift of values the IDF has chosen to adopt.
Levinstein, head of the prestigious pre-military academy of Eli, said on March 7, among other things, that the IDF "recruits [religious women] to the army, where they enter as Jews, but they are not Jews by the time they leave … not in the genetic sense, but all of their values and priorities have been upset and we must not allow it.”
"is correct and healthy, we have to remember where we came from. The source is realizing the vision of the prophets … this is the Torah with which our students go with into the army, and it is it that empowers them to risk their lives."
