636 What is the most important part?

 

Scripture: 1 Sh’mu’el (Sam) 15:1-23

 

SYNOPSIS: Many people think that burnt offerings are no longer needed. Oh how I wish that statement were true. For that is not in accordance with a proper Messianic view of the word of God. There is an account in the Book of 1^st Sh’mu’el (sam) where the real biblical prophet spoke words to Sha’ul. He told him to go kill a group of people and even all the sin infested animals from the land. Only part of Yehovah’s order was followed. After this Sh’mu’el came and said to Sha’ul isn’t obedience better then sacrifice. What does this have to do with the 1^st day of the 1^st month in the 2^nd year of the exodus? Wait till you learn the 7 step process to getting into heaven.

If a husband goes to a strip club without his wife and spends hours watching other women dance around naked, would that be considered cheating? Of course the answer is yes, but I was astounded when I came across a recent survey that found that only 37 percent of evangelical Christians agree with me. Perhaps even more shocking is the fact that the same survey found that only 31 percent of evangelical Christians believe that “watching pornography without your partner” is cheating.
