Scripture: Luke 15:11-24

 

SYNOPSIS: today we are going to be learning about building a special relationship with Elohim. What does that take on our part? Can it be broken? Can it be put on hold? Can it be torn to shreds? The key to this knowledge is “I am standing at the door”.  Find out the deep plans of Elohim for each of our lives. Find out how we can be blessed if we are determined to follow the plans HE has for each of us.

KNOCKING – KNOCK - G2925 κρούω krouō  Thayer Definition: 1) to knock: at the door 2) rap (a quick, smart, or light blow) - knock

 

The act of knocking implies two things:

(a)        that the one who is knocking desires admittance;

(b)        that we recognize the right of him who dwells in the house the option to open the door to us or not, as he shall please.

 

Yirmeyahu (Jer) 29:10-14 provided you seek for me wholeheartedly

Jer 29:10  "For here is what YEHOVAH says: 'After Bavel's seventy years are over, I will remember you and fulfill my good promise to you by bringing you back to this place.Jer 29:11  For I know what plans I have in mind for you,' says YEHOVAH, 'plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future. BAD – CALAMITY - H7451 רעה  /  רע  ra‛  /  râ‛âh BDB Definition: 1) bad, evil (adjective) 2) disagreeable, malignant 3) bad, unpleasant, evil (giving pain, unhappiness, misery) 4) displeasing 5) sad, unhappy 6) evil, distress, misery, injury, calamity
