MESSIANIC LESSON 784 THE CRISIS

 

Scripture: Mattiyahu 8:21-27 So little trust you have!

 

SYNOPSIS: During a crisis, a storm, some traumatic event, many people get afraid, scared, or worried. Most people during a crisis event even lose their faith. We see this not only see this in the TANAK, but with YESHUA’S handpicked sheep. When a crisis happens many people begin to worry. Worrying leads to fretting. Fretting leads to evil. Evil leads to apostasy. Today we are going to learn about how to get through the “CRISIS” and get peace that passes all understanding.

From G3641 and G4102; incredulous, disbelieving · unbelieving · doubtful · unconvinced · distrustful · suspicious · questioning that is, lacking confidence (in Messiah): - of little faith.

SLEEPING – SLEEP: G2518 καθεύδω katheudō  Thayer Definition: 1) to fall asleep, drop off to sleep 2) euphemistically, to be dead

 

Mat 8:25 

 

DIE – PERISH: G622 ἀπόλλυμι apollumi Thayer Definition: 1) to destroy 2) to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin 3) to kill 4) metaphorically to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell 5) to perish, to be lost, ruined, destroyed

 

WRITE: DURING A CRISIS, DURING THE STORM, DURING THE TEST WILL I BE AFRAID, SCARED OR WORRIED? WILL I LOSE MY FAITH?

WRITE: DURING A CRISIS A PERSON WHO HAS COMPLETE TRUST IN THE ETERNAL ONE AND THE LIVING WORD; WILL CALM THE RAGING STORM.

Php 4:7  Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua.

Php 4:8 

 

We were not given a spirit of being fearful

 

We were given a spirit of love and obedience

 

But sometimes there might be a great storm around us

 

You might think during this crisis you may die

 

To this YESHUA said let the dead bury the day

 

During the crisis don’t let the waves sink your boat

 

Remember the word is very close to you

 

But you have to go wake it up

 

Once that has been done the crisis will be over

Remember Yeshua the Messiah is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.
