828 THE ANSWER IS A GOD FEARING FAMILY

 

Verses: Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:19-25 how does this happen…destroy the family.

 

SYNOPSIS: In Mattiyahu 24 YESHUA THE MESSIAH gives us a really bad picture. One day this may all happen. Can we stop it from happening in our lives? The answer is yes, if we have real GOD fearing men and women. In today’s HaShabbat lessons we are going to see what a “real man” is, and what a “real woman” is. Does the bible give specific characteristics to real men & women should have? What happens if you don’t have these real men and women? What happens to their kids?

Mat 24:21  For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again!

Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:37-39 they didn't know what was happening until.

Mat 24:37  For the Son of Man's coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. Mat 24:38  Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; Mat 24:39  and they didn't know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes. 

 

 

Ref. Gen_6:5  YEHOVAH saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only.

FAITH: G4102 πίστις pistis Thayer Definition: 1) conviction of the truth of anything, belief; in the NT of a conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervour born of faith and joined with it 2) relating to God; the conviction that God exists and is the creator and ruler of all things

D’varim (Deut) 31:6 act like men.

Deu 31:6  Be strong, be bold, don't be afraid or frightened of them, for YEHOVAH your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you." 

 

STRONG: H2388 חזק châzaq BDB Definition: to strengthen, prevail, harden, be strong, become strong, be courageous, be firm, grow firm, be resolute, be sore

 

BOLD – COURAGEOUS: H553 אמץ  'âmats BDB Definition: to be strong, alert, courageous, brave, stout, bold, solid, hard

 

 

FRIGHTENED – TREMBLE: H6206 ערץ ‛ârats BDB Definition: 1) to tremble, dread, fear, oppress, prevail, break, be terrified, cause to tremble 2) to tremble, feel dread

1Ti 6:11  But you, as a man of God, flee from these things; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, steadfastness, gentleness. 

1Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith, take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you testified so well to your faith before many witnesses. 

 

RIGHTEOUSNESS: G1343 δικαιοσύνη dikaiosunē  Thayer Definition: 1) in a broad sense: state of him who is as he ought to be, righteousness, the condition acceptable to God 2) the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God 3) integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting

 

Titus 2:3-5 teach what is good.

Tit 2:3  Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn't be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good,
