904 What is a Godly lifestyle?

 

SYNOPSIS: In today’s HaShabbat lesson we are going to study what is a GODLY lifestyle. We start our lesson today in the book of Revelation. To see a list of people who will get into heaven. These people who get into heaven have a GODLY life…style. We also see a list of those who will not get into heaven, because they have deathstyle. What is the difference between a life…style and a deathstyle? We will search the word to see how can we achieve a LIFEstyle.

Rev 22:11  "Whoever keeps acting wickedly, let him go on acting wickedly; whoever is filthy, let him go on being made filthy. "Also, whoever is righteous, let him go on doing what is righteous; and whoever is holy, let him go on being made holy." 

 

WICKEDLY – WRONG: G91 ἀδικέω adikeō  Thayer Definition: 1) to act unjustly or wickedly, to sin 2) to be a criminal, to have violated the laws in some way

 

FILTHY: G4508 ῥυπαρός rhuparos Thayer Definition: 1) to be dirty, grow filthy 2) metaphorically to be defiled with iniquity

 

RIGHTEOUS: G1342 δίκαιος dikaios Thayer Definition: 1) righteous, observing divine laws 2) in a wide sense, upright, righteous, virtuous, keeping the commands of God 3) innocent, faultless, guiltless 4) used of him whose way of thinking, feeling, and acting is wholly conformed to the will of God, and who therefore needs no rectification in the heart or life

 

HOLY: G37 ἁγιάζω hagiazō  Thayer Definition: 1) to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow 2) to separate from profane things and dedicate to God 3) consecrate things to God 4) to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin

SEXUALLY IMMORAL – IMMORAL: G4205 πόρνος pornos Thayer Definition: 1) a man who prostitutes his body to another’s lust for hire 2) a male prostitute 3) a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, a fornicator

 

FALSEHOOD – LYING: G5579 ψεῦδος pseudos  Thayer Definition: 1) a lie 2) conscious and intentional falsehood 3) in a broad sense, whatever is not what it seems to be 4) of perverse, impious, deceitful precepts

 

Yochanan (Jh) 14:1-6 Way Truth Life

Joh 14:6  Yeshua said, "I AM the Way—and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me. 

 

LIFE: G2222 ζωή zōē  Thayer Definition: 1) of the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God, and through him both to the hypostatic “logos” and to MESSIAH in whom the “logos” put on human nature 2) life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God
