905 Tear down the idols  

SYNOPSIS: Shlomo (Solomon) started out so humble. Because of this humility he was blessed beyond his wildest dreams. Shlomo was a young man when he became King. And when asked from YEHOVAH, what he wanted. He asked for wisdom to guide the people. For a young man to ask for help from someone else is truly an amazing idea. But that humility did not last. Are we living in our world today with the curse of Shlomo? Are we doomed? What can we do to tear down the idols?

 

HASHABBAT LESSON: THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. Kohelet (Ecc) 1:9 there is nothing new under the sun. Mattiyahu (Mat) 16:1-3 but you can't read the signs of the times! Mat 16:3  and in the morning you say, 'Storm today!' because the sky is red and overcast. You know how to read the appearance of the sky, but you can't read the signs of the times! 

 

 

Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:10-12 because of increased distance from Torah. 

Mat 24:10  At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other, 

Mat 24:11  many false prophets will appear and fool many people; 

Mat 24:12  and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 

 

1 Kings 3:5-14 give your servant an understanding heart.

1Ki 11:33  I will do this because they have abandoned me and worshipped `Ashtoret the goddess of the Tzidoni, K'mosh the god of Mo'av and Milkom the god of the people of `Amon.
