MESSIANIC LESSON
921 We walk by faith and not by sight
SYNOPSIS: What does it mean to walk by faith and not by sight? Does that mean a blind person who believes in YESHUA can drive a car? In the book of Iyov his wife says to him, “that he should curses GOD and die.” Why was she not struck down immediately from heaven? Rav Sha’ul reminds his readers that followers of Messiah must not build their lives around things that have no eternal significance. Walking by faith means living life in light of eternal consequences. To walk by faith is to fear God more than man; to obey the Bible even when it conflicts with man’s commands; to choose righteousness over sin, no matter what the cost; to trust God in every circumstance; and to believe God rewards those who seek Him, regardless of who says otherwise. Today’s HaShabbat lesson will focus on walking by faith and not by sight.
