Chapter
4 speaks about becoming part of the family of Israel. By this chapter
you can understand that there were a number of Gentiles in this new
Messianic congregation. Why the whole letter (Galatians) is whether or
not the Gentile male has to be circumcised or not. In chapter 4 the
beginning of the chapter speaks about becoming an heir. How does one
become an heir unless they become part of the family? Does a Jewish
father have one set of rules for the natural born son and a different
set of rules for the muslim orphan who was adopted?
SECTION 01: V01-02 he is no different from a slave
SECTION 02: V03-05 legalistic perversion of the Torah was the norm
SECTION 03: V06-07 sent forth into our hearts the Spirit of his Son
SECTION 04: V08-11 now you do know God, you are known by God
SECTION 05: V12-15 So what has become of the joy you felt?
SECTION 06: V16-18 become your enemy because I tell you the truth
SECTION 07: V19-20 I am suffering the pains of giving birth to you all over again
SECTION 08: V21-23 perverting the Torah into legalism
SECTION 09: V24-27 two women are two covenants
SECTION 10: V28-31 we are children not of the slave woman, but of
the free woman
Always remember Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today and forever.
He
is and always will be a Jew.
